Welcome to Tutorly ("we", "our", "the Platform"). Tutorly is an online marketplace operated in Switzerland that connects students with qualified tutors for private tutoring sessions.

By accessing or using our platform at www.tutorly.ch, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Sessions must be cancelled at least 2 hours before the scheduled start time to be eligible for a refund.

7 Payments

All payments on the Platform are processed securely through our payment provider (Stripe). We accept:

All prices on the Platform are displayed in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include applicable taxes.

Tutorly charges a platform fee on each transaction to cover operational costs. This fee is displayed clearly before payment confirmation.

11 Intellectual Property

All content on the Tutorly Platform, including but not limited to logos, text, graphics and software, is the property of Tutorly and is protected by Swiss and international intellectual property laws.

Users may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without our express written permission.

12 Privacy and Data Protection

Tutorly is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

By using our Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

13 Limitation of Liability

Tutorly acts as an intermediary platform connecting students and tutors. We are not responsible for:

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, Tutorly's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the relevant session.

14 Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between a student and a tutor, both parties agree to first attempt resolution directly. If unsuccessful, Tutorly may assist in mediation but is not obligated to resolve disputes between users.

For disputes with Tutorly directly, Swiss law shall apply and the courts of Switzerland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

15 Changes to These Terms

Tutorly reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
